Southwest Airlines is my preferred domestic airline, and I’ve written a lot about them in the past (but they also fly and go international). When it comes to in-flight entertainment, I love Southwest because so much of it is free!
Southwest Airlines’ Ensuite Entertainment
Southwest has an in-flight entertainment portal with a lot of free stuff. You can watch television or however you want, view movies, listen to music, and track your flight to see how much time you have left in the air.
Although not all Southwest aircraft have Wi-Fi, I’ve noticed that the majority of them do. I flew pretty southwest and only came over one jet that didn’t possess Wi-Fi.
On overseas flights, complimentary in-flight entertainment and even paid movies are not available. However, until you cross the international border, you can normally access Wi-Fi.
How to Connect to the Internet on a Southwest Flight
Set your Wi-Fi-capable gadget to airplane mode and turn it on. While in flight mode, make sure your Wi-Fi is still switched on.
To connect, go to your accessible wifi networks and select “Southwest WiFi.”
To rapidly connect to the Southwest Airlines Wifi site, open your browser and type www.southwestwifi.com.
Southwest Airlines charges fees for Wi-Fi.
A Wi-Fi flight costs $ 8 per day per equipment to use the Internet. This empowers you to surf the web, check your emails, and use social media. Southwest, on the other hand, includes free in-flight entertainment.

During your flight, you can also watch a variety of free-to-air television programs. This changes from time to time, but shows like Cake Boss and Who You Think You are included.
You might be able to fly Shaka Week if you’re lucky! Southwest celebrates in a manner that no other aircraft can! In addition to reviewing a plethora of shark-related movies that will make your time in the plane fly by, Southwest celebrates in a way that no other airline can!
Movies
Before you depart, download the Airtime Player app from the App Store or Google Play Store to view movies.
Movies are available for streaming for free at any moment during your flight.
You might not have to worry about concluding your movie before actually your leisure because you can watch it on different flights that same day.
Music
You can listen to music on iHeartRadio and Southwest.FM throughout your free flight. It is a special version that is currently only available on several planes.
You can also listen without paying for inflight Wi-Fi by using your previously downloaded iHeartRadio app.
Sending an Email
You can get the Message plan for $ 2 per day per device if you want a cheap method to stay in touch with friends and family throughout your travel. You may use messaging apps including iMessage, WhatsApp, and Viber with this.
Before your flight, make sure you’ve downloaded the app you’ve chosen. The whole online access bundle for $ 8 also includes message messaging bandwidth.
