After announcing a new flagship Xperia Z3, a better-than-mid-range Xperia Z3 Compact, and even the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact at IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany, Sony has one more smartphone to unveil: the budget-friendly Xperia E3. The Xperia E3 was officially announced on September 3 from Berlin, Germany at the IFA 2014 convention. The new device is certainly not a new flagship, but geared towards more budget-minded individuals. The specs look like this:
4.5-inch display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.2GHz
1GB of RAM
4GB of built-in storage
5MP camera
2330mAh battery
It should be running some version of Android 4.4 KitKat. Sony hasn’t divulged any release dates just yet, and pricing is still up-in-the-air as well. As soon as we know more, we’ll update accordingly.
